OK, I need some help people... I have made a flyer which I am going to distribute around town, but I need some other ideas on how to launch this wee business of mine. I have tried Trademe with little success, I have wondered about using Felt
Any ideas would be much appreciated....

Had you thought of Etsy,it is easy to set up, I have had a few sales on felt,but 200 on Etsy (over a year). Some people do well on felt.Maybe target Plunket groups,find out when the Mothers meetings are in different areas and pop along with a demonstration, many new Mothers do not know how slings work.La Leach the same thing.Maybe offer a voucher/special first offer etc. or poster at the Maternity wing of the hospital, cheers Marie
My ideas would be similar to Marie's. You could leave a flyer/advertising postcard in hospital maternity wards, with childbirth educators, & pediatricians etc. Supermarket bulletin boards, too, maybe. I've created postcards on a budget at vistaprint.com.

hiya, I got some business cards done through vistaprint, I have made up a flyer to go to some places around town, and I have one to make for a lactation consultant who will use it at the hospital. I might have a look at etsy, I have not got any stock at ht moment as I have been making to order, might have to get some made up. D
