Just wanted to say thank you to all the fabulous women in my life, esp my Mum and sister, you are two of my rocks who help me through life, I love you both.

I wish this was celebrated in western countries. I have fond memories of this day growing up in ukraine, it was very close to my birthday and all the boys in school class would make gifts for all the girls and fathers would make a real effort for their wives, daughters and sisters. It actually felt like a real celebration. Really miss that about ukraine.
its not very well celebrated here, generally its acknowledged more amongst left wing people, but it would be nice if women were valued more in society in general too
